Las Vegas is one of the busiest and most popular cities in the world. Many people travel there on vacation, but there are also a number of excellent business opportunities as well. You may want to travel to Las Vegas and network with other consultants and entrepreneurs.
Networking Ideas You Want to Try
Las Vegas has a plethora of networking opportunities while partaking in tours around Las Vegas. You will want to find out what opportunities are available to you before you plan your trip. Here are some things that you may want to try.
Check Out Some of the Local Meetup Events
I always find a lot of great networking opportunities on Meetup when I am traveling. You may want to try using it before you head out to Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Entrepreneur Business Network is one of the most popular business Meetup groups. There are currently more than 1,300 members and the group is actively growing. They hold meetings every week and usually have about 20 people attend. This can be an excellent way to meet a decent sized pool of potential business contacts without getting lost in the shuffle.
See the Social Register of Las Vegas
The Social Register of Las Vegas is a great place to look for new business networking opportunities. The group was created to help people make better networking connections. There are a couple of paid memberships that you may want to try if you end up moving to Las Vegas. You probably aren’t interested in becoming a paid member of sponsor if you are only in town for a week or two, but may still want to check the group out. They have a couple of great networking events every week and they may open the events up to nonmembers.
Attend the Largest Mixer
The Largest Mixer is another great networking event that is held in Las Vegas. You can buy tickets to the event for $15. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend and many traveling professionals come to mingle with local entrepreneurs and business owners.
Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce
Chambers of Commerce are always great ways to connect with people in the community. You may want to look at the events at the Las Vegas Metro’s Chamber of Commerce. They hold a business expo that you can attend for $10. Other great events are held throughout the year as well. Contact the Chamber or visit their website to learn more.
Look for Opportunities in the Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a great place to build networking connections to grow your business. You will want to find out what opportunities are available to you before you plan your trip. Las Vegas is a very open community that is used to dealing with traveling professions. Therefore, you probably won’t be met with the same scrutiny or caution that out-of-state consultants are met with in many other communities. I would start by checking out Meetup and the local Chambers of Commerce.
